Product Description

The Flute sonata in A minor (HWV 374) is thought to have been composed by George Frideric Handel, for flute and basso continuo. The date of composition of the work is unknown, but it was first published in 1730. The work is also referred to as "Halle Sonata No. 1". Although the flute part has been edited to assist less experienced players with interpretation with suggestions for ornamentation, dynamics and articulation, this edition also includes an URTEXT of the Chrysander edition of 1879 from which it has been prepared.
