Product Description

The New Seeker's made this famous as the UK's entry in the Eurovision Song Contest for 1972. It is an archetype of the genre: cheerful, catchy, susceptible to vocal barmonies - everything you want from a barbershop song really. The arrangement was commissioned by a mixed barbershop chorus in which both the baritone and lead lines had both male and female voices, and so can exploit both the brightness of the upper voices and the the richness of the lower bass range. It is notated in the clefs traditionally used for male barbershop (treble bassa, bass), but is vocally better aligned with SATB voicings. Vocal ranges: Tenor: C4 - D5 Lead: F#3 - B4 Bari: G3 - G4 Bass: G2 - D4 www.HelpingYouHarmonise.com
