Product Description

This is a collection of 9 Free Bass Accordion Solos aptly titled. 1. Alone In My Room 2. Mischievous Thoughts 3. Bizzy Work 4. Missing My Pet 5. Riding My Bicycle 6. Watching Stars On A Summer Night 7. Bravely Facing Those Flat Keys 8. Making Friends With the Monsters Under My Bed 9. Alone Again In My Room-Grateful Thoughts Like many famous composers before him, Joseph Natoli has used a title of Nine Childrens Pieces for this wonderful collection of nine solos. With fanciful titles aimed at children, perhaps, they are not all equally suited for children beginning to play the accordion; instead, they are better suited for those players with a bit of Free Bass experience behind them. And, for that matter, they would be perfectly acceptable on a recital being presented not by a child but by an adult. Each piece is different from the others for the most part and they offer skills to be mastered at some point by any aspiring performer. It is not just the technical demands of these pieces, however, which make them so interesting; it is the musicianship and the imagination of the player which will be challenged! I like them and you will, too! (Joan C. Sommers)
