Product Description

Taken from Disney's 1964 film Mary Poppins, this song was sung by Mary Poppins instructing the two children to clean their room. The song was partly inspired by the polio vaccine taken by the songwriter's son, which was evident in the famous line "A spoonful of sugar helps the medicine goes down". This arrangement was largely referencing the original movie soundtrack. The simple 2-part treble chorus, suitable for beginner and intermediate levels, is supported by the vivid and colourful piano accompaniment.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
