Romantic Rudimental Rollout for Solo Marimba is influenced on both marching and concert style marimba playing. Three sections can be identified from this piece. The first section begins with a grand and powerful double vertical stroke chords with a very strong tonic center. The sextuplets gives more fluency in the music, and the climax explores the changing of rhythmic patterns that are unique in a marching style context. The climax took a variation and transition into the next section. The next section consists of rolled notes and creates a warm and romantic feel. The rolling rises and finally resolves on tonic. The last section consists of a joyful and energetic two mallet swung, followed by a few glissandos and polyrhythmic patterns, and finally ends with a low and powerful rolled long note.
