This is the ORIGINAL COMPOSITION of Etude No. 16 for Native American Flute entitled "The West Was Lost but Shall Rise Again" from composer Enoch Chapman. This Etude focuses on the Lower Hand to reinforce the Performers skills.
The focus of this etude is to :
* have the performer get familiar with a new Partial Covered Note
* have the performer continue to get familiar with Chromatic Notes previously introduced
* have teh performer continue to get familiar with the 6/8 Time Signature
This piece uses Dotted Half Notes, Dotted Quarter Notes, Quarter Notes, Eighth Notes, Eighth Rests, and Sixteenth Notes to help the performer build their breathing and intonation skills.
This piece introduces a new Partial Covered Note to increase their musical toolkit.
