This is the ORIGINAL COMPOSITION of Etude No. 15 for Native American Flute entitled "Chromatic Cognizance" from composer Enoch Chapman. This Etude focuses on the Lower Hand to reinforce the Performers skills.
The focus of this etude is to :
* have the performer continue to get familiar with the new Chromatic Notes previously introduced
* have the performer get familiar with the 6/4 Time Signature
* have the performer get familiar with Time Signature Changes (6/4 Time Signature to 4/4 Time Signature)
* have the performer play with scarce accompaniment to promote concentration and focus
This piece uses Whole Notes, Dotted Quarter Notes, Quarter Notes, Quarter Rests, Eighth Notes, Sixteenth Notes and Sixteenth Rests to help the performer build their breathing and intonation skills.
This piece introduces the 6/4 Time Signature to increase their musical toolkit.
