Product Description
The title 'Echoes' can mean several things in this piece: it could refer to the musical ideas themselves, which often echo themselves; it could also mean the interaction between cornet and piano, which is often canonic; the music also evokes past eras, echoes of the past, with references to plainsong, 20th Century American music, and impressionism. At the end, the main musical idea dies away as in an echo.
