Keys to the Northern Pass (30'45") was inspired by the sounds and history of the Cairns region, in Far North Queensland. From the city to the reef, to the beaches where the rainforest meets the sand, a world to itself.

The Coral Sea was also the site of a great naval battle, rumours of which swept the coastline. In the end, all is at rest as the bugle announces the last light.
The Dark Within speaks of Kalkajaka, a large granite formation featuring many crevasses and caves. There are a number of sites sacred to the Kuku Nyungkai people, and many folk stories arose from European settlers in the area. Who knows what secrets the mountain holds?
As the Moon passes by, and the stars hide behind a maidenly veil, The Night's Sorrow is heard, whispering in the dark.
