Product Description
The River is an instrumental pentatonic Chinese piece with traditional instruments such as the erhu, dizi and guzheng zither. The music is about the flow of a river from its source to its destination.
You can substitute western instruments for the Chinese ones if the Chinese ones are not available.
The tune is based on the Hakka Hill Song traditional Mother Tune, called Baban.
This is a good introduction to Chinese folk music for intermediate to higher-level players.
The tune when played at the indicated tempo is about 2:30 long. The MP3 version is produced from the music using Muse score. Muse score does not have all the Chinese instruments and therefore some are just approximations.
This PRO is APRA and the ISRC is AURRZ2000023.
