Product Description
Remember Saturday morning at the movies in the days before air conditioning? During those long, hot summers the only way to get relief from the heat was to go to the movie theater! On Saturday mornings, we would pedal our bikes into town, where for a dime, we could spend half the day in "refrigerated air" comfort.
Saturday mornings always had a double-feature. Between the two movies, there would be a newsreel about the important events of the day, followed by the weekly installment of the serial, and one or two cartoons. To round things out there was always a "bouncing ball" sing-a-long where the theater audience would sing-along to well know popular tunes.
This is an arrangement very much in the style of those Saturday mornings sing-a-longs, so this might make an excellent audience participation feature!
