The Oboe represents the Woodwind family, the Viola the String family, and the Trombone the Brass family. Reaches audience through styles likely to be familiar, Rock and Roll, Blues, and Latin/Indigenous Dance. These styles represent the rich racial and ethnic make up of the Americas, hence the title, Three Voices from the Americas. Works equally well as a stand-alone concert piece.
