they do! STING recorded them, if that means anything to you. So then, what have
composers been up to for the last 430 years?!
I jest, but this piece is terrific.
Be advised, the 'runs' are modal, in
that the 7th degree is usually NOT just a semitone under the 8th/1st, but a
whole tone. A bit like bagpipe music, in our day.
