The Misirlou song is a traditional on from Levante, the region of the Eastern Mediterranean. It appears also in the famous song "Pump it" form Black Eyed Peas. I transcribed it using the original. It has two parts, a slow one which remembers the original with its oriental melody, and the other a more dynamic one which is something similar to the melody you heard from the Taxi movie.
