JESUS KEEP ME NEAR THE CROSS (Low Voice): This old public domain song, composed by W.H. Doane and written by F.J. Crosby, has been beautifully arranged by Sonny Rios for either solo Low Voice or Piano Solo. This song is a plea to Christ to keep the vision of the cross before the Christians eyes as a reminder of what Christ went through to purchase the Christians salvation. The song may be sung or played in Christian services, religious or secular concerts. This arrangement has a range of Ab3-Eb5, is read in the treble clef for the benefit of both altos and bass/baritones, and has been registered with the US Copyright Office and ASCAP.
