"Riding north to the hills they made their way in the rising sun.
The trees that marked their way, marked their way.
Sleep now upon the green.
The air is cold, and their sight addled by the mist.
Blackness settles and fear enters the mind;
Desolate, fraught, foul.
"Liggja, liggja! Koma a fjorlag!"
Songs of ancient past hear the cries and let brightness come again!
