Smokey Robinson wrote this for the Temptations and recorded it with them in 1965, their first No. 1 hit .. the rest is history. My arrangement captures all of your favorite riffs from that cut, you never knew how much 'soul' there could be in fiddles. This arrangement is for an intermediate to advanced level string quartet, or for string orchestra. I can make arrangements for other ensembles, too, just email me.

NB  The attached MP3 is a made up of short cuts from the entire arrangement, spliced together, one after the other so you can get a sense of how I treated different sections of the original song. Enjoy!
