This is an anthem based on the famous German Trinity hymn tune "Komm, Heiliger Geist, Herre Gott" ("Come, Holy Spirit, Lord and God") for mixed choir (two part: women/men) and pipe organ. The first verse is sung in unison, in the second verse the voices imitate each other, and in the third verse, the men sing a counterpoint to the melody sung by the women while the organ figurates the melody, interrupted by the "Hallelujah" motive of the melody. The anthem is easy to sing and perfect for Trinity Sunday or any other service that celebrates the Holy Ghost.
