Product Description

This is a delightful contemporary piano duet that would be ideal for any student recital; appropriate for secondary students, intermediate level or above. During these turbulent times, the overall sound of this song reminds me of the constant optimistic yet strongly resolute aura of John Lewis, Civil Rights leader and Congressman; may he rest in peace. It is 38 measures long, Piano1 being more difficult due to the constant triplets. You can modify the piece by substituting a guitar for the Piano1 right hand, and a flute for the Piano1 left hand, using Piano2 as melody and accompaniment. Bits and pieces of the melody constantly come in and out, with episodes of dissonance, in part and in full, throughout the piece, making it sound a little "Bach like".
