Let Time Pass lets students play at a moderate tempo within elementary ranges, while experiencing fun rhythmic interplay and satisfying bluesy harmonies. The key to mastering this piece is for each performer to remain completely aware of the pulse established by the trombone at the beginning and to let that pulse be the strict guide for the precision of all note attacks, held-note durations, and entrances after rests.
