This is a dramatic work for alto saxophone and orchestra featured on the CD, Concerto, released by Roven Records and available on iTunes. The concerto is in three movements that segue onto each other and is a reflection on Mary Oliver's poem, When Death Comes.

The first movement is dark, at times mysterious at others forceful, the second more contemplative while the last is a joyful romp.

SCORE SHOULD BE PRINTED ON TABLOID SIZE PAPER. Parts are on standard letter size paper.
