Product Description

One of the most loved and recognized pieces of classical/opera music, the Overture to the Barber of Seville, becomes an exciting and thrilling piece for a Cello Quartet or Cello Ensemble thanks to this arrangement. Rewritten for four cello voices, it becomes a challenging piece for all four parts, including solos for all the sections. The Cello 1 part is largely written in treble clef and reaches an A5 or G5 (depending on the optional notes). Cello 2 is written partially in treble, tenor, bass clef. Cello 3 and 4 are largely written in bass clef with occasional measures in tenor or treble clef. The piece is fully bowed and has been engraved for easy page turns during the performance. This piece is sure to provide a challenge to the players and a great show for the audience!
