The lyrics quote only the first 3 phrases of the traditional Ave Maria text. These 6 words are in common across most usages regardless of region or religion or purpose and impart a broader blessing. These 6 words are interspersed throughout the piece with the "Ave" (Hail) high in the range for celebration, "Gratia" (Grace) mid-range for acceptance, and "Dominus" (God) low in the range for humility.
