This arrangement of "Dark Eyes" was inspired by performances of Liberace; and is arranged in his style. It contains many of his trademark runs and embellishments. Now you can learn to play this famous folk melody in the same exciting style as "Mr. Showmaship", Liberace. "Dark Eyes" is a Ukrainian romance song with lyrics written by Ukrainian poet Yevhen Hrebinka, first published in 1843. It is known as a gypsy romance cabaret song based on the original melody of Florian Hermann's Valse Hommage.
