BLAME IT ON THE BOSSA NOVA - FIVE GUITARS/LARGE ENSEMBLE
For Classical or Acoustic Guitar - sometimes it's erroneously listed here as Electric Guitar.

Derek Hasted writes "This arrangement suits a guitar quintet, or alternatively a guitar quartet and a bass instrument - for example electric or acoustic bass or double bass.

The fifth part is supplied in both treble and bass clefs - two versions of the same line.

This arrangement has been a firm favorite in the adult ensemble that I run, and audiences love the infectious rhythm. Just like the original, the second verse is a semitone higher, but as the full score suggests, if you play verse one with no open strings, then verse two is simply one fret higher - a magical key-change that delights audiences and is no work at all!
