By 1980, Billy Joel found himself labelled as a "soft rocker" because of hits like Just the Way You Are and She's Always a Woman. His next album, Glass Houses, rocks harder and It's Still Rock and Roll to Me is a prime example. It became Joel's first number-one single in July, 1980, spent 11 weeks in the Top 10, and was American Top 40's #7 for the year. There are places where you can abandon yourself to rocking-out, but most of this score will make you hone your serious technique. Anywhere you and three friends can find a pair of good pianos will be THE place to draw - and please - a crowd.
I hope you don't object to being called a "showoff."
