The first of 6 pieces in "Daytime Suite", a new suite for 2 pianos, 4 hands (duration just under 15 minutes)
The pieces are in a range of styles, depicting different times of the day, starting with a misty early morning, and continuing through the trials of rush hour driving, enjoying some relaxed elevenses, a day at the office, working out in the gym, and going to bed at the end of the day. Originally written for a piano pupil, the pieces can be performed as single piano pieces (playing only the piano II part), though as pieces for 2 pianos they are much more fun!
