Product Description

This American Revolution/ War of Independence Medley contains the British Grenadiers, Chester and Yankee Doodle. It is arranged for Woodwind trio: Flute, Oboe and Bassoon. British Grenadiers: A regimental march proudly sung by the British Grenadiers while serving overseas, including during the American Revolution. In 1770 Dr J Warren patriotically wrote new lyrics to this tune which the colonists sang, called Free America. Chester: The unofficial National Anthem of the American colonies during the American Revolution. Yankee Doodle: Originally written by the British to make fun at the colonists during the French and Indian wars, it later became one of the colonists most patriotic songs.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
