"In My Life" is a song by The Beatles from their album Rubber Soul. Composed primarily by John Lennon and credited to Lennon/McCartney. George Martin plays the baroque-style piano in the song. The song inspired more pop music producers to use harpsichord in their arrangements. Rolling Stone magazine ranked "In My Life" at number 23 on "Rolling Stone Magazine's List of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time", as well as fifth on its list of "The 100 Greatest Beatles Songs". The song ranked second on the CBC's 50 Tracks. Mojo magazine named it the greatest song of all time in 2000. According to Acclaimed Music, this is the 160th most celebrated song in popular music history. It is one of the Beatles' best-known nostalgia songs.
