Jazz Ensemble. A Dizzy version of the Gillespie classic in Latin and Swing; multi-meter.

Features Trombone 1 playing the melody as a half-time ballad against Latin style rhythm accompaniment. After an optionally open solo section (in swing tempo), an ensemble soli (without rhythm section) leads to a jazz waltz by the lower voices. The final section features Alto Sax 1, Flugelhorn and Trombone 1 in an up-tempo recap of the melody. See Conductor score for an overview.

A 3-line Conductor score (5 pages) is provided in place of the full score.

Includes an optional Tuba part (with key figures cued for others).
