Product Description

This track was originally released in rock band format as a bonus track on the "Fire Garden" CD in 1996. My good friend and excellent orchestrator David Kole did the orchestration for this one when I was preparing music for the Metropole Orkest "Sound Theories" project around 2005. I had given him the music and some thoughts on the direction. He wrote and orchestrated the "Murder Prologue" by taking excerpts of my written melody. The tonal center of this piece is macabre and eerie with its twisted melody. It's not meant to be pleasant. "Compogistion" Christian Tiera's lover was found slain in the small town of Locust Valley New York in a Baptist church in the woods right outside of town. His naked body was crucified and hung over the alter. The killer, who many believe to be his secret lover Christian Tiera, was missing after the body was found. A brutal murder is one thing, but this butcher went to great lengths to create a morbid and gruesome, yet inspired in a ghastly kind of way, art project out of the slaughtered body. When Christian Tiera was finally apprehended he presented a note from his lover approving of the murder. There were also many hours of video footage of them both plotting the grisly art project, along with the massacring act and construction of the crucifixion.
