Ruben Fuentes composed or arranged over 300 songs starting in the '40ies, and many of them helped Mexican singers build up their career: from Pedro Infante to Miguel Aceves Mejia, from Lucha Villa to Amalia Mendoza, from Jorge Negrete to Luis Miguel. But his songs were translated or sung internationaly: just to name a couple italian singers: by Domenico Modugno and Caterina Valente.
