Written in Honor of Dolores Huerta, American Labor Leader and Feminist Activist who created the phrase "Si Se Puede!" "Yes, We Can". It has become a trademark of the United Farm Workers of America. It has drawn widespread political and media attention as a rallying cry during the U.S. Immigration reform protests.

The work opens with a percussion rhythmic chant (Si Se Puede) that grows louder, the winds join wih a rhythmic motive of their own. The second section is folksong-like, while the third section is hymn-like. The work closes with the "Si Se Puede" motto returning to overlap with the hymn-like tune.
