Product Description

Complete score and parts of the "Sinfonia in C major RV 116" for Strings and Cembalo. Composed in Venice between 1728 and 1730 by Antonio Vivaldi. Reconstructed in Rome in 2019 by Santino Cara.

3 Movements: 1. Allegro molto, 2. Affettuoso, 3. Presto

Instruments:
1. First Violins
2. Second Violins
3. Violas
4. Violoncellos
5. Double Basses
6. Harpsichord (realized by the interpretation of the basso continuo)

Sources: In 2019, the School of the Baroque Academy of Rome commissioned Santino Cara to reconstruct this Sinfonia composed by Antonio Vivaldi between 1720 and 1730.
The rewriting of the Sinfonia was based on the manuscript presumably copied between 1730 and 1745 by Johann Georg Pisendel, a German violinist and composer who was a friend of Vivaldi.
We were inspired by the manuscript of the instrumental parts and not by the one with the complete score, this because the second manuscript was more readable and correct, probably rewritten by Pisendel himself. The dynamics and articulations with staccatos and accents were inserted.
Finally, we performed the harpsichord part made by the basso continuo.

We remind you that this Sinfonia includes the complete score
with the relative separate instrumental parts, all in a single pdf file.
