"Dreaming of Home and Mother" is an 1868 song by American doctor and composer John Pond Ordway. It is most popular in Japan and China. The Chinese version is called (Songbie, "Farewell"), and the Japanese version is called (Ryoshū, "Yearning (for home) in traveling")

The lyrics of Songbie were written by Chinese artist, musician, and Buddhist monk Hong Yi (Li Shutong)
The lyrics of Ryoshū were written by school music teacher and lyricist Kyūkei Indō ()

It was selected as one of the 100 Best Known Japanese Songs in 2007.
It was also played in the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics' closing ceremony as a farewell song
