This is truly international music: written by a Dane in the style of an Argentinian tango with a French title, which means "jealousy." (Its complete original name is "Jalousie 'Tango Tzigane'" (Jealousy "Gypsy Tango").
The piece was written in 1925 but first recorded 10 years later by the Boston Pops Orchestra under the direction of the beloved Arthur Fiedler.
Thanks to the Danish National Symphony, whose version of the song provided inspiration for many of the licks in this arrangement.
