Product Description

Arguably the most famous movement of George Frideric Handel's beloved Messiah (HWV 56). This English-language oratorio was composed in 1741 with text compiled from the King James Bible and the Coverdale Psalter by Charles Jennens. Handel originally composed the work for a smaller choir and instrumental force. This version honors the spirit of his original intent with an SATB arrangement suited for any size chorus accompanied by a single piano.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
