Product Description

Auld Lang Syne (Old Long Since / "for the sake of old times") is a Scottish folk melody widely used to symbolise "endings and new beginnings". Sung to bid farewell to the old year, it is also often heard at funerals or graduations. Many branches of the Scouting movement use it to close jamborees. It is even used as a signal that a retail store is about to close for the day. Due to its symbolism, it is also frequently featured in film soundtracks.

Auld Lang Syne is also associated with Christmas - which is certainly a special case of new beginning.

You can find Juan María's version of Auld Lan Syne in all streaming platforms (including Spotify, Apple Musc, Amazon, and even TikTok or Instagram).

Pianist & Composer Juan María Solare (Argentina, 1966) opens scarcely travelled paths: his style traces a line that subtly connects art music with light music. Composition degrees in Buenos Aires and Cologne (Germany). Genres: neoclassical music and tango music. Solare teaches at the university of Bremen and at the Hochschule für Künste. Recitals in Texas, Germany, London, Istanbul, Scandinavia... He is also editor of 4 piano albums for  Ricordi and a fifth for Peters Verlag. He conducts the orchestra of the Bremer Orchestergemeinschaft. His music received over 25 million streams on Spotify.
