Sweet Sacrament Divine is a piano arrangment of a beautiful hymn to the Blessed Sacrament by an English priest, Fr. Francis Stanfield (1835-1914) who composed the hymn tune and text.

This advanced intermediate level arrangement is intended as a musical meditation which attempts of glimpse the mystery of the Eucharist "hid in Thine earthly home". It may be especially suitable as a prelude for Corpus Christi, but may be effectively used throughout the Church Year, or incorporated within Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.
The work was also influenced by a quote by J.R.R. Tolkien: "Out of the darkness of my life, so much frustrated, I put before you the one great thing to love on earth: the Blessed Sacrament. There you will find romance, glory, honor, fidelity and the true way of all your loves on earth".
