Product Description
This is a basic straightforward arrangement of the Super Mario Theme. It is arranged in Concert F to make the range more accessible to brass players (specifically the trumpets playing the melody). The music follows the main tune exactly with very few changes other than range adjustments of certain parts. The idea behind this arrangement is to be playable by concert bands, regardless of instrumentation. And though it is not a "flex" piece, all of the parts are doubled in various voices.
Instrument parts are for flute, oboe, clarinet 1-3, bassoon, alto tenor baritone saxophone, trumpet 1-2, horn 1-2, trombone 1-2, baritone, tuba, snare and bass drum parts, tambourine part, two mallets parts (high and low) best played on marimba or xylophone.Â
Rhythmically and notewise this tune can be a bit of a challenge for younger players. All the more reason to learn it! They know the tune and will be motivated to learn, practice, and perform the music. HAVE FUN!
