Product Description

This is a classical guitar arrangement of Capricho Arabe, one of the most famous classical pieces of all time. Capricho Arabe was written in 1888.  Tarrega had recently explored northern Africa and the Andalusia region of Spain. Both regions were influenced by Muslim and other religious cultures.  These travels heavily influenced Tarrega as he wrote this piece.

Francisco de Asís Tárrega Eixea (21 November 1852 15 December 1909) was a Spanish composer and classical guitarist of the late Romantic period. He is known for such pieces as Capricho Árabe and Recuerdos de la Alhambra. He is often called "the father of classical guitar" and is considered one of the greatest guitarists of all time.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
