The Chester Music edition
Review by Ben R. on 23 Oct 2024 review stating Die With A Smile - Piano/Vocal/Guitar
There is no room to write in fingerings or rhythm or other performance notes. There are better versions of this lovely melody available. The white space ratio compared with the notes is much too large making it difficult to read easily. I suspect the original had the tablature under the standard notation and Chester Music eliminated the tablature and just kept the standard notation as a short cut. Customer service suggested my printer was the problem. Since I didn’t have issues with another version which is available on other websites using the same printer settings I suggest the problem is with Chester Music publishing software. Additionally there are better versions that include the fingerings and let the performer know which position to play by indicating which string to play the note and whether to play it open or closed. Chester Music gives the performer no indication which is further evidence that this version simply eliminated the tablature under the standard notation.
