Originally composed as part of Toby Fox's Earthbound hack "Radiation's Halloween Hack", "Megalovania" was going to be the final boss theme that would play at the end of the game.

It eventually found it's way here, to Undertale. In a way, it still is a final boss theme of sorts, in that it plays on the final battle with Sans, one of the main characters in the game.
