Product Description

This is the Spanish edition from Prelude & Aria Opus 8, with comments and titles in Spanish. Prelude & Aria is a small diptych in Baroque style; both pieces were composed in two parts counterpoint but there are very different. The Prelude, serious and austere in character, chromatic and metrical ambiguous, starts in the tonality of A minor and concludes in the remotes tonality of A flat minor. The second piece, Aria in A major, is lyrical and with ornamented melody, whose serenity of expression do not exclude moments of melancholic reflection.
