Joe Cernuto

Joe Cernuto is Director of Bands at Millersville University in Pennsylvania. He teaches courses in instrumental music education, brass methods, music technology, first-year seminar, and is the conductor of the Wind Ensemble, Concert Band, and Marching Band. He spent a distinguised career in the public schools of North Carolina and Oklahoma teaching beginning through high school instrumentalists. Dr. Cernuto also frequently teaches courses in arranging, composition, and orchestration - which inform his own arrangements. He specializes in instrumental arranging - including large ensemble (full orchestra, string orchestra, marching band, wind band) and small instrumental ensembles.
