Instrumental Transcription of the Communion motet as composed by Thomas Tallis
This is scored for Eflat, 2 B flats, alto and bass clarinets.
I was asked to make a Basset horn in F part as an alternative to the alto clarinet part.
The pdf file comprises the score and parts as originally written and a separate Basset horn part for convenience.
(The Basset horn part is provided twice but both are the same pitch as the original alto clarinet part; one is given an octave higher because some Basset horn players like their parts transposed up an octave).

in quo Christus sumitur:
