With the lyrics and accomanying goofy acting on stage and in the movie, this tune from 1954's "The Pajama Game" is just silly. It actually charted in the '50s by artists you've never heard of. Weirdly, it has been recorded in 15 different Finnish versions under the title "Hernandon salaisuus." (The Finns possess an overabundance of vowels.) And it was the theme for the gangstger character "Brick Top" in the wonderfully weird 200 flick "Snatch."
But it's a wonderful tango by Jerry Ross when you take away the words.
