About the work:

"Bayerischer Defiliermarsch" is a well-known military march of the 19th century, composed by Adolf Scherzer in Ingolstadt, c. 1850.

It was played during the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich and as part of the German contribution to the opening of the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal.

Due to its tremendous popularity among Bavarians, it is widely regarded as the country's "secret anthem".

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
