Product Description

The famous theme from Haydn's Emperor String Quartet.  This theme was originally a hymn, "Gott erhalte Franz den Kaiser," and was used as the theme for the theme and variations form in the 2nd movement of his 62 string quartet, Op. 76 No. 3. This same melody is now the German National Anthem.
This version takes the theme and simplifies it for amateurs and younger players, or those without as much time to rehearse.  With the recognizable theme and lyrical nature, this is great for weddings.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
