Product Description

Printable music flashcards for all ages and all levels
46 printable pages (84 flashcards) Beginner & Intermediate
Works with any piano method! Be sure to check out tips at the bottom of this page.

Quickly learn how to read music notes, symbols, musical terms, and Major key signatures with music flashcards! This is one of the few products available that include all note on, above, and below the staff PLUS all 12 Major key signatures.

Want to read notes as easily as you do words on a page? Music flashcards are the quickest and most effective way to truly master note-reading and recognize key signatures.

Did you know that shortcuts like "Every Good Boy Does Fine" and counting up to recognize key signatures actually PREVENT students from mastering music reading? Students who use shortcut methods aren't normally as successful in the long run and tend to struggle along the way.

But there's good news! Proper use of music flashcards means that you'll learn FASTER and stronger than any shortcut method. You read that right. Learning to read music the right way is much quicker than any of the shortcuts! Using music flashcards to learn note-reading, symbols, terms and key signatures allows the student to spend less time struggling and more time making music.

HOW TO PRACTICE MUSIC FLASHCARDS:

1. Never take more than 5 new cards in a week.
2. Begin your practice with just 2 cards. When those 2 become quick & easy then work in one more card. When those become quick and easy, work in another. Continue until you can quickly recognize all 5.
3. Don't freak out if you return the next day and can't remember a single card. That's normal in the first 2-3 days with brand new cards. Continue the process above, and by the end of your first week you'll be remembering them overnight!

IMPORTANT TIPS FOR MUSIC FLASHCARD PRACTICE:

1. Choose 5 flashcards per week to study. Match them to the songs you're working on, if possible.

2. Practice your flashcard set daily (it only takes a couple minutes) and try not to miss a day.

3. Continue reviewing your learned flashcards daily for the first month, and 1-3 times weekly for the first three months. Eventually you can move them to a monthly review -- which you should continue for one year (these take less than 60 seconds).
